Co-design and implementation of a country’s operational strategy, following a reorganisation.
Following a much needed reorganisation that left many employees disoriented, the Exco of this 10,000+ strong subsidiary was tempted to implement its idea of the required strategy. Instead, they courageously decided to hand the decision to the top 550 senior leaders spread out throughout the newly created business units, using collective intelligence tools. Through a mix of face-to-face and digital meetings, the operational strategy was built and iterated upon by the Exco and its key managers, gathering direct input from the field.
A highly impactful strategy that was easy to understand and share and much easier to execute, thanks to everyone’s buy-in and participation.
“I am proud to have participated – I know my opinion counts, and I am excited to deploy this throughout the organisation. This is the first time line managers have ever been consulted on something like this.”
